Mr D L Pandya ( Pandya Divyachakshu Laxmanbhai , born 1952 ) is a chemical engineer with specialisation in petroleum refining and petrochemicals and having completed post graduate courses in industrial engineering and materials management.

Having worked with industries as well as an Organisation assisting new industries by providing techno-commercial consultancy services, Mr. Pandya has been  providing technical and management services for medical devices and plastics industries since more than 25 years.

He has traveled extensively to various countries including USA, Germany, The Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Singapore, Bangkok, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and also some countries in Africa for various assignments related to medical technology industry.

Some of the current and past professional activities are :

• Authorised Representative in India for Companies from Europe for products related to medical plastics / devices industry.

• Consultant To United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) for Cluster Development Programme for Medical Plastics Devices/Disposables Industry Cluster in Gujarat State.

• Co-ordinator In India for The Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries ( CBI ) , an agency of the national Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

• Invited as expert for R&D projects related to Biomedical Engineering by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

• Product And Market Development Consultant To Medical Devices And Plastics Processing  Companies.

• Edited 4 different technical publications related to plastics industry.

• Published a Book ,"Biomedical Technology : Tips & Techniques" ( With forward from Dr R A Mashelkar, Director General CSIR and Secretary, Govt. of India, Department Of Science & Technology )

• Editing a publication ( Magazine ), "MEDICAL PLASTICS DATA SERVICE" and three medical technology internet portals, www.medisourceasia.com , www.medicalplasticsindia.com and www.healthcareindustryindia.com .

• Academic : Visiting faculty and examiner for Plastics and Biomedical Engineering courses.
